What's the biggest obstacle you've had to overcome within the last 24 hours?
Submitted by ILoveYouMr.Dragon.
Getting into the same lift as my facilitator (BRATs), Niki Cheong. Somehow I managed to embarass myself even more when I got out on the wrong floor! It is not exactly an obstacle, but still. It was pretty interesting, I guess. (:
I'm back here in Shah Alam!
So, basically the whole BRATs camp/workshop was exciting. It had its ups and downs, but I would say there are more ups than downs. I think by now I should realize on how I should keep my sentences short, huh? I joined the workshop to gain more experience (and Joyce basically forced me to join), meet more people. Try to get out of my safety zone. I talked Njw and Emy to come together, and we got accepted into the same camp. Just luck I guess (:
I did not hung on to my friends if that what you think. Can't say what they think though. Yes, I might have gone to breakfast/lunch/dinner with them, but I did not hung on to their asses when we were supposed to divide ourselves into groups.
The people there - friendly, nothing like what I expected them to be - are truly one of a kind. Including the facilitators and seniors, they guided everyone throughout the whole workshop. Commenting on how horrible awesome our articles are, to how messy creative everyone's video's turned out. The most rewarding thing for the whole workshop was to get our articles published on the rage website.
In case you are wondering, I did not manage to snap any photos. My sister, who works for Junk (HAHAHA PROMOTE PLS) had her first ever event to handle. Me, being the sweet, kind and giving sister, let her hold on to the camera. No doubt, I did miss the lovely camera. Forcing me to only use my cell, I somehow think I did pretty good for the photography challenge. No, I know what you're thinking. I always have you around to bring me down, but I am trying my best to shut your words out of my mind. Yes, you think you're just awesome. And I'll let you be that way. No point of me bring you down right? Back to topic! I had to use the camera provided by the Star, which I think was pretty awesome. I somehow think my camera would do a more decent job in taking photos.
My back is currently hurting. Typing this in the dark, nothing to support my back while the laptop lays on my pillow above on my thighs. A look to the left, and I'll catch a glimpse of light shining on my face on the dressing table. Pretty creepy I must say.
I'll share more in the next post, which I hope will be soon! I need to get this blogging thing going, y'know?
(I am not going to do the "til next time, xoxo" shit. No worries)
